Another rant about men!

Oh and I are struggling financially. We have been since I lost my job in August 2013. I didn't go back to work because he didn't want me to while preg and since having my dd he doesn't want a sitter watching her - I agree. So I'm still not working. And we keep struggling.

We have a chance to stop renting and take over a mortgage that's in his grandfathers name for $25 more than our current rent. He's dragging his feet and not committing to the decision. He's worried about bills.

Me too. But if we want a shot at better I think taking the house, putting some tax return money into it as well as sweat, we could make it a perfect home for us as well as increase the value drastically if we decide to sell for whatever reason.

He keeps saying he wants a better paying job. In our area there aren't better paying jobs. We live in a shit hole area that offers nothing. His jobs not bad and he will get a dollar raise after his 90 days. Did I mention he's a job hopper. Hasn't had a job longer than a year since we've been together. It frustrates me to no end. He can't commit to anything and it's pissing me off. No wonder we don't have a wedding date set. No wonder he can't move above entry level jobs.

I agree. I'm sorry but that's just not normal. You two are creating other people... he really needs to be committed. I understand wanting to stab your eyes out after a year in a horrible job; but men stick with it until something BETTER (not just new). I don't want to sound all judgy judgy, especially since rants don't always show the best qualities of people, but he sounds like a high schooler.

I didn't mean to be rude but generalizing a gender for your experience with someone just annoys me. My husband doesn't deserve to be generalized and grouped in with someone who does the things your man does. Complain and rant about your man all you want and I will totally sympathize and hear you out. But to say it's a general thing among men is just wrong.

Yeah I would've said exactly the same thing as all men can be an arse at times, bloody sunshine and rainbow's dont fly out the a*holes all day long! lol If people want to get stroppy and have a go at other peoples posts I suggest they go on another site, Im pretty sure there are other sites when they quite happy have a go at one another! arggggggggggh!

Well of course not all men have the same issues as yours does.... but really everyone has undesirable issues! I am a horrid house keeper, my DH wants the house clean but won't do any of it himself. (I am the breadwinner in our household) He gets all huffy on his high horse and I say "MEN!!!" Bah!!!!!!

Sounds like your man needs a kick in the pants. Or maybe just imagine kicking him in the pants! LOL
