OK so I know go in.... get it checked out..... but this is a little different...

My baby seems to have a lot of space to move around... he can literally still do summersaults in there. He goes from breach to transverse to head down.... a new position daily. That said, he has been SO SO SO quiet!!! No big movement, no belly jumping, but he does move.... several times a day... but I have to provoke him to get him to, sometimes I feel his head or bum pushing against me...

Last night, I rolled over in bed, and he just kinda floated to the other side... he's never done that before. But this morning, he was kicking fine. And through the day he got less and less active.

I'm really unsure if this means he is fine and I'm overreacting, or if he needs to be checked out.... I'm about an hours drive from my hospital, and my hubby is gone all night at work... or I would just go in for piece of mind.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My LO tends to float to one side or the other after I switch which side I am laying on. And I often have to provoke him to be more active. He is definitely not as active as he once was. But as long as I notice movement and kicks at some point through the day I try not to worry myself (harder said than done). My LO is a bit of a night owl and is most active when I am laying in bed at night.

Thanks... its reassuring to hear that someone else has a LO who "floats" since that's what really scared me! I've decided to call the doc in the morning. Since I am kinda stuck here tonight. Its probably gonna be a long night though.
