Anterior Placenta

Well found out during my scan that I have one today, which I know means feeling baby later. I didn't have one with my DD and didn't feel her til 21 weeks!!! How much later will this one be for you ladies with experience? I thought my DD was late and I thought I would be feeling this one by now!!!

I had an anterior placenta with my last pregnancy. Felt light movement about 22/23 weeks, and kicks about 24 weeks x

Same as above really. Felt slight flutters till about 24 weeks. By now I'm feeling fullon kicks and that. Having a scan at 32 weeks so hope it's moved by then!

I've had an anterior both times....this time I am mainly entertaining baby with my trampoline/pelvic floor which it seems to enjoy bouncing on.

I am 24 weeks today, and am just starting to feel little flutters. I was so worried, but from what the Dr.'s said feeling kicks later is normal.

i was told my placenta was anterior at my scan but i have been feeling movement since 13/14 weeks so doesn't always mean later feeling, i just have a blind spot in the middle of my belly near my belly button where i can't feel due to cusioning. he moves lots to the side and lower so i till feel him.

I hate that I have to wait so long to feel it! Hopefully I'll be like you sweetbuthyper and feel him at least a little earlier.

I started feeling definitely movement around week 20, and full on kicks/activity around week 23

I'm 23 weeks with an anterior placenta and I've been feeling her fairly regularly for about a week now. At first, I could only feel her when I'd lay down in the evening and now I'm feeling her more. It shouldn't be too much longer for you

I have an anterior but I started feeling movement around 17 weeks (flutter, taps, like popcorn popping). I'm 19 wks now and the movements are definitely getting stronger and the "taps" are becoming very close to kicks. I can also feel the baby changing position which is really weird feeling.

I have an anterior placenta too and actually felt my first kick on Saturday! Like you, I thought I was going to have to wait forever (or maybe not at all) to feel anything but she seems to be quite the kicker in there!

I have an anterior placenta too, currently almost 22 weeks pregnant and I can feel little flutters every now, feels like gas! I was wondering do you ladies know when the OH will be able to feel the kicks, I really want him to feel what I am feeling

I found out I have anterior placenta on scan as well but this past few days I have been feeling bubbles and flutters low down which I know is baby and I will be 16 weeks tomorrow so may not always mean later,

I was told at my 20 week scan that my placenta was anterior, I started feeling some movement around 18 weeks, my dh has felt some kicks from the outside this week

4th bubba and 1st anterior placenta but I was feeling movements on one side from 18 weeks but not daily and now I'm almost 24 weeks and I can feel good strong movements all days every day

I had the same and felt the baby moving around 17 weeks I didn't even know what that was since my do noted it down and just said I should feel her moving which I could.

My daughter was anterior, but I started feeling her at 10 weeks. This time one of the twins is as well. I do feel the other one more, but occasionally feel the one with anterior too. (They are top and bottom, so I know if it's REALLY low it's A and if it's near my belly button it has to be B.)

Had first kick/punch at 21 weeks and hubby felt him from outside at 22 weeks. Feel him every day now.

I never had the bubbles/popping feeling though, it was straight into movement.

I have an anterior placenta too - I feel big kicks now, but have felt constant kicks and movement since about 21 weeks.

I have one and felt them early - 16 weeks. First baby too.
