Heyyy guys just wondering if anyone else is going through same situation as me or whether I should start panicking I have an anterior placenta and I'm 24 weeks and hardly ever feel baby move, on scans he's been going mad kicking all over place but tht was 4 weeks ago ..... Surely I should be able to feel him a lot now right ???

Anterior placenta makes it hard to feel kicks because the placenta is in the way . Try not to worry you'll feel more bigger baby gets

I wouldn't worry too much. I've got an anterior placenta too, though mine is high up. I'm still unable to feel much where it's situated, unless it's very strong kick which is rather rare.

I also have an AP and felt movements a lot later than I remember last time. I only feel them when they're really low, or very strong (which isn't often).

I also saw baby move like crazy in the scan, and I can't believe I can't feel it, but yea, anterior placenta

I had one with my first and didn't really feel a ton of moving until probably closer to 30 weeks. It sucks, but don't worry it's ok :)

I also have an anterior placenta. I'm almost 23 weeks and feel movement but not all the time. I just saw the doctor yesterday and told him that I've had moments where I definitely feel a strong kick but then I go days without feeling hardly anything and I worry. He said that at this stage the baby is still small and I won't feel much unless they're strong kicks and depending on where the baby is facing. He said as the baby grows, I'll start feeling more regular movement. He was not worried at all and told me it's ok not to worry. :)

Don't worry you will feel it soon. I'm 26 weeks with anterior placenta not only can I feel him but I can see him too!

Thank you for all your comments feel so much better now was sick of reading on the Internet that I should feel it by now and see it glad to finally get real answer from real people :) xxxxx

Hey guys just thought I'd update this thread last night I felt baby kick and saw it and my partner felt it was amazing and he kicked like 6 times where we could see and feel it together can't believe I've gone from feeling hardly anything to a few days later seeing it and feeling it I've worked out kick off time for my lil one is 11 pm at night so I'm sure he will be keeping me up through the night for weeks to come ... So worth it

I have AP too and I hated it til a few weeks ago. Now I feel movements every day but not half as strong as I did with my 3 previous pregnancies.
