To anyone else who suffers with allergies I have some useful info.
I went to my allergy consultant this week and explained I was now TTC but already fed up because Piriton was not working and I couldn't take anything else. She told me that cetirizine is safe for all 3 trimesters (but not breastfeeding) Loratadine also safe all through and for breastfeeding, Piriton safe for 1st and 2nd trimester, but not 3rd or breastfeeding (makes baby sleepy).
Obviously if you can live without any anti histamines this would be best, but for anyone that suffers allergies/hayfever and cannot get through the day without anti-histamine help if gives you more options.
Clearly I am not a doctor and everyone should check with their doctor first, but my doctor was obviously not aware that other AH are considered safe.
