Re-posting from another section in the hope I may get more replies and reassurance.

Has anyone had this and is it anything I should be worried about? I know it can affect baby but not how and why.

My booking in bloods show I have antibodies in my blood the nurse told me its probably nothing to worry about but thats easier said then done. I had more bloods taken today to check the antibodies but I won't get the results for another 8 weeks.

Can anyone put my mind at ease? x

With my last pregnancy they had to monitor an Antibody M ( I think that's what it was called ). All that meant for me was monthly blood draws to check the level of it. If it ever got high enough then they MAY have had to do blood transfusions for baby in utero because it could have caused baby to be anemic. Kinda scary but that was worst case scenario, and it didn't happen. Just meant for needle sticks and ultrasounds. I had 2 20wk ultrasounds, one with regular OB and one with a high risk specialist that checked the blood flow of baby a bit more. I haven't had my blood work for this pregnancy done yet, aside from the pregnancy confirmation, so I'm not sure if I'll have to go through that again or not.

Thanks for the the reply the nurse was quite vague about it all and didn't seem too concerned about it. Going to book in with my doctor and discuss it with her and see if she can track down the blood results. X
