Hey all. I'm so new at this, TTC #1 so, I'm sorry if I sound a little "crazy" or if I'm over thinking.
Yesterday I went to the doctor because I woke up and the right side of my throat hurt. When I seen the doctor he did a quick test for strep which came back negative but, he said there's always that chance that when they send it to the lab for the in depth test that it could be positive. I told him we were actively TTC and I was in the 2 week wait. He told me that I could take the Rx now and start it or wait until the lab came back with the results. He suggested amoxicillin because it was safe and I decided to start on the Rx simpy because I wanted to feel better and I rather not be sick on my birthday which is Monday.
If I am pregnant is this going to be an issue? Even though the doctor told me it would be fine I rather hear some advice from other mommies.
