Anticeptic cream question

Tmi sorry!
My 6 y/o has a really red sore looking end of his willy. He washed it and I gave him a little bit of Savlon to put on.
It only says don't get it in your eyes or ears but still wondering is it quite safe?

I think it should be... but if it carries on being sore i'd maybe take him to the docs to get it checked just incase he needs antibiotics or something.

Fx he feels better soon x
