Any advice on telling the boss, or friends?

Hey all, I'm 12 weeks along with my first pregnancy and I've only told parents and a handful of close friends. I'm still petrified to tell anyone! I'm in my mid-twenties, with a bit of a high-stress job, and virtually no friends with kids yet. I know I have to disclose my status at work soon, and I'm scared! I have every intention of returning to work after maternity leave, so I really need things at work to keep going well.

My husband is ready to spill the beans. Any general advice from people who have been through it? How was the news taken?

You will get a mixed reaction . Most people will be really glad then there will be the odd one who makes a snide comment which is pure jealousy. I was 22 when I expected my first I just told my boses some close friends and let the rest just find out for themselves
