Morning, firstly ill say sorry because i know so many ppl who have posted threads like this, i just wanted my own advice please thanks.
Woke up yesterday morning, with really wet underwear went to toilet thought oh wow wet myself :dohh: nice! Then went downstairs and some liquid run down my leg so just put it down to discharge.
Well again this morning woke up with wet underwear so went for wee took knickers off and back to bed, when i did finally get up this morning liquid came flowing down my leg and i made a puddle on the floor OH was like oh whats that??? Ive not had none since but could it be leaking waters or just i dont know???????????? Any advice very grateful thanks.

I'm no help at all :( sorry but I hope it's the start of something for you!! Although very jealous!!

definitely sounds like it, give your midwife a ring as they'll need to check because if you don't go into labour naturally within a certain amount of time of your waters breaking then they wI'll induce you sure to the risk of infection x

My midwife said lots of ppl don't get a big burst of waters but a trickle over a day or so. She said to phone even if you're not sure. Hope it all goes well! :)

i'd say it sounds like youre leaking, especially with the puddle. i always worry about things like this because there has been women on here that have been told its just watery discharge only for it to be their waters, and i always have watery discharge since becoming pregnant so i'm constantly paranoid :haha:

Sounds like your water broke. You need to go in and get checked or call the dr and see what they suggest

Definitely get seen soon Hun, it really sounds like waters leaking. If it is,baby needs to be delivered soon as infection can set in. Good luck xxx

wow really, im just a bit unsure with it being on morning thing. I dont seem to leak through the day but then i do wear a panty liner, so hard to tell.

I know i worry about ringing L AND D dont want to seem like im pestering :dohh:

Sometimes babys can adjust and cover a leak if you are up or sitting up? That's what I have heard . Where as when you sleep it gives more opportunity for pooling in the vagina and hence waking up with it being more noticeable? Sorry couldn't be more help! Hope this is it for you though! I wouldn't see it as pestering at all , definitely valid !! Good luck. :)

Pester! That's what they are there for.

I phoned a few weeks ago due to reduced movement and the midwife who was working when we got to the hospital wasn't the most pleasant as apparently the message didn't get passed on from the previous shift that I had phoned ..... But when I had my regular midwife appt she was lovely and said they would rather people came in every day if they are worried than stay at home stressing out.

To me it sounds like your waters but you'd be better to get checked. Doesnt hurt and it could mean you get to meet your baby really soon!!

:hugs:

Do i ring the L and D number im not really sure i got given so many bloody numbers. I know i shouldnt care i always feel like this even with the doctors terrible really.

Ring l&d, even if they're not the right people to contact, they'll point you in the right direction.

They really won't mind you calling. I really would call if I was you as if it is your waters you are approaching the time that they would induce you due to risk of infection. There's a lot more at stake if you don't call than if you do and it turns out to be nothing. Let us know what they say!x

Well rung them, they asked me to go in so went in at 3.30. They did swab, scan and monitored me for probably 30mins. After all that they dont think it was my waters, there is still of fluid around baby etc. They also did internal as i was having some tightnings i am 2cm dilated and my cervix is soft :happydance: so you never know.

That's sort of good news. At least you know what is going on & that things are starting. Fingers crossed it happens soon :hugs:
