Any baby name regrets?

My eldest is Lily-Ella... i loved it at the time, now i hate it. Reminds me of salmonella or cinderella. Its mainly the 'Ella' part i have issues with, though 'Lily' is very popular now and has many spelling variations too. That being said 'Lily' does suit her and thats mainly what she gets called :) her Dad picked the 'Ella' part, another reason i don't like it :haha:

My 3rd daughter is Tallulah Sky. Love love love the name 'Tallulah' and couldn't picture her as anything else, and i love the name 'Sky' too but wish i'd chosen something else - it's just not for her if that makes sense?!

My son is Riley Joshua Noah. I adore his name, though part of me wishes i'd left Noah off the end so i could use it this time :haha:

My 2nd daughter is Evie Hope. Her name is perfect for her and i love it - no regrets there!

Overall the main regret i have is that my sib-set names don't seem to 'match'! :haha: silly but true!

Lily-Ella is gorgeous! See, that's what I worry most about. I love long, beautiful, fancy, extravagant names for girls... but I worry the name wont be practical for everyday daily use. Luckily, you can always go with just Lily.

Yes I named my son after his father. Even at the hospital I named him something else, but changed it to a junior after his father begged me to change it. Only for his father to be completely absent in his life. Often I wish I just would have named him what I wanted. Not sure if I'm right to feel this way or not....Definitely over his father but just wish my son could have had his own name, not named after someone who doesn't gave a darn.

I also regret naming my first son after his dad- not because we are divorced- but it got too confusing too quickly- so we ended up calling him by his middle name- yet all of his documentation shows his first name- so we always have to explain. I won't do that again with the man I married now!

I worry about regretting our son's name, I hope it ages well and doesn't sound too dated in 40 years time. I think Conrad is definitely timeless but Zach sounds like a young man's name to me, despite its long history. But we adore it and are set on it.

I must tell you I love the name you have picked! Conrad was on my list if we had a boy, I just love it! And I wouldn't worry about Zach, I know Zachs both young and old. I think it's a great name that works for all ages :)
