Ok so i looking to start up a mini-business from home eg. jewellery making. basket making or something like that. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what else i could make? maybe a gap in the market that you have noticed? i know people are gonna like 'why should i tell you my great idea?' but i will be just selling locally so won't be rivalling that many people!! lol. thanks!

I make jewelry from home and I love it! If you can knit or crochet that would be a wonderful side business as well! You can sell it at flea markets, garage sales, facebook, etc.

personalised stuff is always good, patchwork sells well and for a good sum (but is a lot of work), with christmas approaching hampers would be good, esp if your making baskets.
