Any other single mummies - how are you managing without any hugs?

Dont mean friendly hugs, one of those partner hugs that makes you feel like everything in the world is gonna be ok.

Guess I m having a bad day when the realisation of going alone has hit me. The not I can live with but not being intimate or close to someone is hurting.

To be honest its not bothering me too much because I have my little fella to keep me company and he always cheers me up when I feel down or lonely but if I didn't have him I def think it would be a lot harder.

I'm the same, my partner broke up with me last week and Ive had a hellish few days, got high results for downs yesterday and had the cvs test today, waiting a few days for my results. All I've wanted is a hug from him telling me that everything will be ok and holding me. It's more lonely at night when there's just no one to put their arm round you xx

Right with you Lexi. Sorry to hear about your results. A family friend got high risk then told positive from CVS and baby was fine. Hope you find the strength to deal with whatever happens.

I know the feeling! It's ok through the day.. I have plenty to keep me occupied, but when evening comes, and all the kids are in bed, and I'm left watching tv sat on my own.. it kinda hits me!
