Any positive stories of a lighter test and still BFP?

Hi girls,

I foolishly took another test because I'm nervous about a chemical. I had one 2 months ago and the line was lighter the next morning and I bled 4 days later.

This time I took a FRER at 3pm and it was very dark - 2 days later (this morning) I took one at 8am and it was lighter than that 3pm one. I am shaking and sad and thinking the worst.

Any positive experiences here of varying levels of lightness and a viable pregnancy?

Testing at different times of the day can really affect the results. I always had darker lines in the afternoon than morning

a lot of woman on here have said that once the test reaches a certain darkness it can't handle it anymore so it gets lighter- the hook effect - so they try testing with diluted urine ( ie just dip ut in the toilet) and see if that works?
I haven't tried this myself as would be too scared seeing a lighter result
