Hi ladies
Would love to hear success stories from those who went through recurrent pregnancy loss.
I have just had my 3rd 1st tri miscarriage and am looking for some hope. I love hearing others stories. I am starting testing soon and we are having genetic testing done from the tissue taken from my D&C on Thursday. I know that it doesn't always show anything is wrong but I guess it feels like something is being done.

If you have a success story I would love to hear it :flower:

I had three consecutive mcs, and finally conceived my keeper about 7 months of ntnp after the final mc. I think what helped was getting serious about my health and exercising and losing about 25lbs. Don't give up hope!

Thank you swampmaiden 😊

I have recently lost 23ibs and became so healthy but I still miscarried again. So not sure what else I can do right now.

Did you ever get given a reason your losses and dos you take any meds 4th time round?

I am halfway through testing now. I have a hysteroscopy booked for 3 weeks time and genetics results we are still waiting for. All other bloods are ok

Congratulations on having your beautiful rainbow. What a blessing 😊

No reasons for the losses, I had the 'products of conception' tested on my third mc but they came back normal. For my successful pregnancy, I didn't take any fertility meds but I did take baby aspirin as soon as I got my bfp and took one a day until I went into labor. It's hard to believe it's just good or bad luck, but I think, just like with labor, when you relax & trust your body, your body knows what to do.

But we'll see how it goes later on this year when we TTC #2, hopefully I don't have another 3 mcs!

Hi trying I'm really sorry for your losses. I've had 3 mcs, all different reasons. First was a blighted ovum @9 weeks measuring 5. Second was twins at 15 weeks due to twin to twin transfusion. And last was a mmc at 11weeks after seeing a heartbeat at 7. We had Rmc testing for the twins and third and it showed nothing wrong. Prior to the twins we were under the fertility clinic and cd21 tests showed low progesterone due to early ov (cd10 ish, cd 12 on clomid) bit was never gI've progesterone despite asking each time. This pg I was under the Rmc consultant with progesterone until 16 weeks and baby aspirin til birth. My rainbow is now 11 weeks old. I still can't quite believe it. We had given up after the 3rd mc but 6 months later decided to have 1 last go. It was a good pg physically but very difficult mentally. We had lots of extra scans under the consultant. I hope you get answers and your rainbow. Much love.x

I had one MC at 8,5 weeks, second at 10,5 weeks. Now I'm 12,5 weeks pregnant, so far all the scans are good, hopefully this one is to stay. I've done tons of stuff to make this one stick: supplements, acupuncture, diet change, herbs, endocrinologists help. I'll write a separate post on this. Good luck to you, successful pregnancy is possible after a few MC.

Hi swampmaiden
Like you my tests have also come back normal. Just awaiting the karyotyping still, which we have been told will more than likely be normal also.
I am going to be taking baby asprin too next time and hopefully that and regular scans will help. I'm not feeling too hopeful but we need to just have fait and see what happens.
We have now got the gruelling task of ttc again. Really hope it doesn't take as long this time around
Maybe it was all just bad luck and next time will be ok? With being unexplained we have been told that we have a good chance of having a successful pregnancy in the future. Hope they are right.
Thank you for replying. It's great to hear of positive outcomes.

Nessaw. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I am very sorry for your losses. You have been through a heartbreaking time.
Like you my MCs are different. Each time I seem to get a week further. It's strange. My last one which was a MMC was the hardest as I had all the symptoms and I didn't have any spotting. I thought we were going to be third time lucky.
So far all tests are clear. Never been tested for progesterone. I did ask but my gyne doesn't believe in progesterone treatment. However next time I will be taking baby asprin as a precaution from BFP. This was recommend by the consultant who did my D&C. We will also be having the extra scans in the first trimester next time. I am going to be so nervous I am not sure how I am going to cope. The idea just terrifies me now. It will be a while yet anyway until it happens I'm sure as me and DH seem to take longer to conceive since having a D&C (now 2) so hopefully by then I will be a bit calmer.
So glad to hear that you got your rainbow. You must feel so lucky. You give me hope and remind me that I should not give up and I should keep on fighting X

I also had 3 losses, one was twins and one a singleton. They did all the tests and found nothing. They got to the point that they said that even IVF wouldn't help me without PGS. I read about aspirin and started taking that (although I still needed to do an IUI), found out that was the key. I know have a perfect and beautiful little girl.

I fully recommend taking aspirin (as long as your doctor supports it). I told my doctor that I was taking it and she didn't seem to care if I continued to take it so I took it right up to delivery.

I just wanted to share with you to give you hope, I know exactly how you feel.

DH and I were both 31 when we started trying. I then miscarried 3 times in the first trimester. It was the hardest time of my life.

After the third loss we did all the standard testing. DH was normal and I was told I was in good health and had "a gazillion eggs", but
1) I had mild hypothyroidism - treated with medication. Unlikely the cause of m/c, but better to treat it.
2) I was ovulating but "not very strongly".

We were about to start FSH injections (for a stronger ovulation), but we were surprised by a natural pregnancy before we got to that. I was a wreck for the entire 9 months, but I now have a healthy 1 year old boy.

I should also mention I had an HSG done and became pregnant the very next cycle. I read a poll here somewhere and found that happened to MANY women who were having losses.

Best of luck to you. Stay strong <3

I had 6 recurrent miscarriages between december 2012 and March 2015. Most before 6 weeks one after 8(like 8+3-4). Went to specialist had all test karotyping, hysteroscopy everything all came back normal. Took 14 months off took care of myself and did not try at all actually avoided pregnancy and then we just said hey let's try. We are now 17 weeks with no intervention besides prayer. Just wanted o say it's possible. Hoping I'm not stepping on toes. Good luck and baby dust ladies!

Thank you Florida
This is amazing. So glad you got your rainbow xx

I can actually add to my story. After my 3 loses I had a successful pregnancy. We then decided to go for baby number two. I didn't get any BFPs when we tried on our own. We went back to the clinic and after 1 IUI (with aspirin) we are now expecting number 2. So hard to imagine during all those losses that I would now be PG with number 2.

I know you started this post white some time ago. I hope you have been able to find some light in the mean time.

Thank you TTC.
This gives me hope :flower: great that you are also now expecting number 2!
I am now pregnant again 6+4. I have been taking baby aspirin this time. I am not sure that it has worked, my symptoms have been fading over the last 5 days. I always have trouble in week six. Things never seem to go up a notch.
I have an ultrasound tomorrow. I am expecting the worst but hoping for the best. Not sure we can face a 4th loss especially after trying for so long. Praying so much x

Sadly at 8+2 I found out it was all over. Baby's heart stopped beating literally just after the first scan.
There is definitely something wrong with us as this is no longer bad luck. Aspirin and acupuncture didn't get us any further.
We will be seen by St Mary's recurrent miscarriage clinic in January. Our local hospital said all tests were normal but St Mary's will do further testing and hopefully some tests on DH as he has had nothing, not even an SA!
Fingers crossed they find something. My babies are so weak. It's almost like something is stopping them from developing in the 6th week x

I am sorry for yr losses. A friend of mine, who experienced multiple mcs, got pregnant after her ivf with PGS NGS treatment x

Thanks ladies xx
Our new journey starts tomorrow. First round of testing at St Mary's x

Just saw this thread and wanted to stop in and support the next part in your journey! I was going to add that I believe baby aspirin is key, so don't give up on that, but so glad you are going for further testing! Stay strong! :hugs:
