Any tips on driving first time alone?!

I passed my test just over 3 months ago and have only just been able to affors insurance. The car i have is a lot older than the car i learned and passed my test in amd i find it hard to drive. Im going to try and go out for a drive later while my sister has LO but am really nervous. Any tips for this first drive?! Xxx

ide go to a car park & have a drive. get used to the clutch etc. put some music on but not loud & just relax. xxx

Find an empty carpark or a quiet trading estate and get used to the controls. Then do some short trips to build up your confidence. Having the radio on can also help to relax you. Hope you get on OK. I was always a nervous driver but then took a job which was an hour commute each way. Got me over the nerves!

Thanks for the responses been driving on my own for about 3 weeks now and am loving it in the end i just got ru in the car and went to the shops and took short trips and now i feel more confident. Still not 100% but feel lots better than at first! Xx
