hi guys :)
just wondering what do ye do to cheer up when having a wobbly hormones moment or day :) im fine most days , i just have the odd day when i know if someone looks sideways at me , i may cry :)
although if i let myself cry i usually feel better . but dont wanna be a crybaby for no reason :)
i usually go for a walk or swim which helps even though its the last thing i usually feel like doing. any other nice suggestions that dont cost much or nothing ?
thanks :)

I hug my puppy dog O:) And if she's not around, I think of what it's going to be like when baby gets here. How happy that will be! But, man I hate those days you're mentioning!! Walks do help me too.

thanks hon, yeah it is nice to look forward to baby cuddles alright ;)
i keep reminding myself, its only hormones and im grateful to be preg too, does help :)

I have one of those days today, cried dropping my DS off at nursery this morning, infront of everyone!! They were all looking at me like I'm mad as in normally skipping out

Then I cried after I rang OH and he said he will ring me back as he was too busy  burst into tears at work...

Crazy emotional lady! I haven't really got any tips, just to say your not alone  I do find having a good cry makes me feel better tough lol

X

thanks mellie, i cried today cos i was goin down the stairs in front of my OH, he was telling me hurry on and get out of his way, he was messing but i took it seriously and started bawling :) i feel like im about 3 when it happens :)
i know its hormones and its not rational but i cant help it,
i then started telling him he is not allowed be not nice to me :) , another 3 yr old me momnet :) just felt fragile :) i went for a swim and im grand again :)

No tips, but this has been a lot over the last few weeks, especially this week.

Yesterday I sobbed on my way to work because it was snowing.... I think I've cried on my way to work every morning. I almost started just reading this thread.

I hate when it's for no reason at all or just over silly things.

It helps for me to talk to someone who I know will cheer me up. I was sobbing today when trying on my old clothes (bad move I know) and OH came in to talk and said "my love for you is proportional to how big your bump is". Cheered me up instantly! Other than that I say watch a feel good movie, that should do the trick :)

I had my first really weepy day today, think it's mainly cos I've been busy and am really over tired. Definitely made worse when hubby is sweet and nice to me! lol!

I agree with the puppy dog cuddles, my shepherd gives good cheering up kisses too! I also look at my ultrasound pic and remind myself of the wonderful little person growing inside me. And just have a sob. It's like a flush out for your emotions!

Hugging a teddy always helps me.... Or having an early night. Things tend to always seem a little better after some sleep. Xx

I just posted a similar thread. I am having a teary day too. Sleep always helps. Hope you feel better.

I've been crying a lot too! I try to hide it from my girls but they always find me and tell me sorry and give me hugs then I cry more :/

I wish I knew! I'm a Christian and I try to pray when I'm feeling overwhelmed and scared, but other than that, I don't know.

thanks guys :) nice to know its not just me :)
im always grand again after a few hours but then i feel like a muppet for being silly :)
im really liking ur OH saying his love is proportionate to ur bump size, how cute :)
he should give my OH should tips on handling me :) heehee.
i just get cuddles and sheepish smiles off my OH , which i have to say do work too, i love my cuddles :)
thanks to all , hope its a non teary day today for all xxxxxx

Maybe a strange solution but I stick on a weepy film, bawl my eyes out and then feel so much better for 'getting it all out'. Marley & me did the trick last time.
Not sure why it works but I did it with PMS weepiness and it seems to work with pregnancy too.

annie i agree , sometimes just goin with it and lettin urself cry is the best way of gettin rid of it :) thanks
