Any tips to get 6wk old to take bottle occasionally?

Hi everyone,

I am exclusively feeding myself and my LO feeds very often indeed. I would literally like to be able to pop out for an hour or 2 to get my hair cut but I don't think I can because he's suddenly refusing the bottle. He used to take the odd bottle of expressed milk or formula but do you think he's now forgotten how to suck from the bottle? That's how it appears, he cries a lot and just knows it's not boobie!!

Do you give him the bottle? Albert will not take one from me but will take one off someone else if i'm not in the room. It takes 5 mins or so for him to remember what to do though! x

My son would never take a bottle of ebm from me - it had to be someone else. He would just look at me as though to ask "what is this?" xx

aiden has been taking ebm since he was 2 weeks.. even though he is exclusively fed from me.

it usually takes him a couple of minutes to realise what to do, but he does take it! just give him a couple of minutes to get used to it xx

Emma only takes the closer to nature bottles, she'll cough and splutter on anything else x
