OK so might be a super daft question but is there any way to get your body to favour ovulation on one side rather than the other?
I only have one tube, so when I ov on the "wrong" side I'm out before I even get started.
If there was a way to increase the chances of one side ovulating more than the other then I might be able to increase my odds a little bit
Anything's worth a try - old wives tales included.

Hi,

I don't think there is but maybe it's worth going to see the doctor and asking if there's any methods you could try, xx

You could try keeping your 'good' side warmer with a heat pad or hot water bottle, so increasing the blood flow round that side? Just a guess....but it couldn't hurt! xx

Unfortunately my doctor isn't much when it comes to these kind of things and his main answer to everything is "lose weight".
The keeping one side warmer for increased blood flow is an interesting idea.
After all these years I'm game to try pretty much anything including Old Wive's Tales and the like.
If it doesn't work :shrugs: nothing lost, if it does work (or just happens to be a coincidence) then I'll be one very happy bunny!

My friend only has one tube and her DR told here that the other tube picks up 15% of egss that the ovary with out a tube makes so not all of them are lost.. I know its not many but better than nothing and doesn't sound like your Dr knew this so thought it was worth sharing the opion of my friends DR!

GL xx

That's very interesting - how cool if it really does.
