Anybody counting down the days till the first prenatal appointment?

I'm dying of anticipation!

My first prenatal appointment is on Oct 12, along with my first ultrasound. By that time I will be almost 8 weeks. I can hardly wait! The days are going by soooo slowly.

I just found out last week and I am being such a worry wart... part of it is that I work in the ER and so almost all the pregnant patients we see are bleeding or have something going on. It also doesn't help that I'm addicted to these message boards. I think I'll breathe a sigh of relief after the first scan.

When is everybody getting their first scan/first appointment? Let's count down and wait together!

I had an early scan at 5+5 and only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac (no fetal pole). I have a repeat scan this Wednesday at 7+5 and time is basically standing still.

Working in an ER must be tough!

I too am waiting until my next appointment this Wed. It will be my second appointment but my first scan. I am so excited to see my little one in there.

I have to wait til 5th october for mine! That's just to fill in paperwork and book in. I'll be 9w 2d then. It will prob be anything up to a month after that til I get to actually see my bubba......

How come everybody is getting their scans so early??! I'm jealous.

My OB didn't even want to see me right after I got my BFP. They said they usually start at week 8. I had to beg them to let me make the appt on Oct 12 as I'm not fully 8 weeks by then. The suspense is killing me!!!

I was paranoid about cramping so they scanned me to make sure the pregnancy was in the right place (not ectopic).

i have already had my 1st one but i was counting down the days. Now i am counting down the days for my ultrasound (9 days).
