Anybody holding out on baby being born on an important date?

I think that's why i'm not getting any signs of baby turning up any time soon... i've been holding out for her to show up on my 2nd wedding anniversary (1st feb) so i'll be a couple of days overdue. It's to the point where by if I get the slightest inkling of a niggling something I just ignore it and it goes away! lol! I know it's probably all in my head but I feel quite determined to not give birth before then, haha.

Anybody in the same situation? Or am I just a bloody weirdo?! hehe.

Id hate to be overdue but part of me wants a St patty's baby! Im due the 16th so id just be a day over due. My mom is hoping for her bday on the 4th and my dad is hoping for his bday on the 10th.

Gotta admit im sore and fed up and peed off and would like to pop tomorrow at most points...but I am holding out for my due date which is the 15th Feb.

Baby was originally due on my bday which is the 22nd Feb and then they changed my dates to the 15th which was my late Grandad's bday. I had already promised to him (at his funeral when i was pregnant with my 1st) that if i ever had a boy i would give him his name for a middle name, as he was such a special and important person in my life and i felt sad that he died before having the chance to meet any of his great grandchildren.
When i heard my due date was his bday i just thought...thats like spooky, I know he's watching over me and this baby.
Silly little story really but it would be nice if he did arrive on the 15th.

my boyfriend wants our lil man to be born on his birthday... 29th march... but hes not due till 11th april.. lol..

i wont be trying to force him out on the 29th march tho.. he will come when hes ready ..

I am the opposite due 6th feb but think he is going to come on 13th/14th due to my dad up their in the sky but really I want him anytime, yes it would be nice if he came the day my dad died or my dads bday but also he is his own person so having his own bday would be nice!

Well I was due on 23rd Jan, one of my friends wanted me to go early on her birthday (12th Jan and my dad wanted me to go early on his birthday (21st Jan). That didn't happen.

Now the next date we are hoping for is Australia Day (tomorrow 26th Jan). Failing that, I have another friend who's birthday is 28th Jan.

We also have more family with birthdays in Feb but I really don't want to wait that long!

My gramps died in July, and his funeral was the same day my best friends baby was born, unfortunately I couldn't be very enthusiastic for him, it was such a horrid day. My gramps was the first relative i'd told about my being pregnant (I was 7 weeks - he was in hospital and ironically that day out of nowhere I was sent to that ward to clean his room!! no other day had I been sent there at that time of day to clean on that ward, very strange). I too was gonna have his name as my baby's middle name had she been a he. Makes me sad he'll never meet my baby, it would've been his first great granddaughter.

How nice I have never been to Perth, but would so love to go. It looks sooooo beautiful. It is expensive but I guess we know no different.

Expensive to emmigrate I meant, soz! I found the prices fine out there, not dissimilar to here. It is lovely there but very much a developing city still which is weird. I just love their summer temperatures so much, such a different climate to summers here at similar temps as it gets all muggy n horrible here :/

Well depending on if im dialted or not yet. Im going to be induced late on march 28th or early morning march 29th. I have gestational diabetes so thats part of why im being induced. The other half is thats when we plan to skype the birth of our little girl over to afghanistan so my husband can see his first daughter born. Also March 29th is his 25th birthday so were excited about that

i would love my little man to be born on the 4th of april as my nan passed away on that day 13 years ago she was like my mum and brought me up i know its a little morbid but i'm not due till the 23rd april so doubt it will happen.

i just hope he doenst arrive on the 13th as thats my nieces bday and my brohter and his wife would accuse me of doing it on purpose to take the attention of her.

oh and i'm hoping i dont go overdue and have him on the 1st or the 6th of may lol cause thats my brother and sisters bdays i want him to have his bday the day all to himself.x

it would be nice to have bubs on my nans bday the 30th of jan she passed away sept 2009 and i miss her so much..im really sad that she wont get to meet my lil girl.

I'm due on mothers day, so am holding out for a mothers day baby on 3rd April.
DF and I both have birthdays the week before the due date so we're hoping he doesn't come during that week as we want bubs to have his own special day.
