Hi TTC for over a year after ruptured cyst on ovary which led to emergency laparotomy and laparoscopy. Was pregnant at the time the docs initially thought i was having a ruptured ectopic pregnancy before opening me up. After the op was still pregnant but miscarried less than a week later. Was told op had went well and should not cause me any problems in the future. Few months later was getting impatient waiting on bfp so charted ovulation did not ovulate that month. Went to docs who did day 21 bloods the following month ovulated that month. Anyway doc referred me to hospital in dec after no ov in last 3 months. First appointment feb 22 looking forward to hopefully finding a reason. Would love to talk to anyone who has attended fs or who is about to start

    Hi BabyAngel

Sorry to hear about your loss:hugs:

I am currently attending monklands. You will prob have your 1st app with a fertility nurse which they do to cut down waiting times but they go through lots of stuff, think we were in for about an hour.

We are now just waiting on an app with specialist which isn't til end of May:growlmad:

    Hi BabyAngel

Our appointment with nurse was in November, I did have an us and whilst she didn't discuss results in depth she did say all looked ok. I had the pleasure of a student Dr also watching  I think as the problem seems to be solely with OH to much attention wasn't on me but your app may be different because of you're no OV.

We weren't allowed to make app with FS til OH had handed in his SA so that's why we waited til Feb to make as they wanted a fresh result.

He has know got to do another SA 3 weeks before FS app, think this is so FS has most up-to-date results. I think can handle the wait for FS its just the not getting the latest SA results til then which is killing me....

Good Luck and let me know how you get on xx

Well first appointment with fertility specialist (nurse) went good. Scan was good no problems to be seen, have a tiltled womb but nurse was not concerned with it. OH had already had basic sperm analysis count was good 77million but motility only 35%. So has detailed analysis in march. Also my last day 21 progesterone was good 36.9 so hopefully im back on track. Nurse thinks doc will refer me for lap and dye because of previous operation. Feeling positive and relieved and hoping for a natural bfp.... and if thats not to be the ball is now rolloing for assisted conception :winkwink:
