Hi, I bought some Disana wool nappy cover from Millies Nappies in December and received an email saying that they had dispatched on 30th December 2010. They still haven't arrived and on the 14th January I wrote to the company about it. 'Donna' wrote to me on 16th saying they would send me some more, that if they hadn't already been dispatched they would be in the next day or so. I still haven't received any (now the 25th January) and am in desperate need of the nappy covers!
Have any of you had dealing with the company and found them to be reputable (or not)?
I don't know what to do next...
Thanks

id email her back shes a member her so would probably appreciate you not talking about it here till shes had a chance to investigate, royal mail wait 2 wks before you can claim for a lost item so id contact donna again

Whenever I've dealt with her she's been incredibly helpful - would deal with her again anytime.

I've bought from Donna quite a few times and she's always been great. Things usually arrive within a day or two so it definitely sounds like a Royal Mail issue. How did you choose for them to be delivered? And have you contacted Donna a second time? If not, do so - you can't expect her to magically know whether they've arrived :)

I have contacted her again a few days ago but perhaps I'm being a bit impatient. I don't mean to give anyone a bad name, and I had no idea she's a member (you mean on B&B I assume?) I just wanted to see if other people had had dealings with the company. I'll wait a bit longer for a response.

Royal mail have been truely terrible with post to my address throughout December and January, and I don't usually have a problem with them. Have you complained to them about it? I have a new postman who seems to have trouble with my address (even though I have come out a few times whilst putting rubbish out and asked for my post, and he has seen me go back inside???).

I've always had fantastic customer service from Donna at Millies Nappies. On the other hand, I have friends who received Christmas cards posted at the beginning of December last week!

Im still getting parcels sent in the late weeks of november/early december hun... id definately say this was a RM issue.

Can you ask for replacements to be sent recorded? x

I've always had brilliant service from Donna so I very much doubt there are any problems at her end. On the other hand, I have had massive massive problems with royal mail with my own business recently :grr:

Also only had brilliant service from Millies Napies

And also still awaiting a package sent from my dad weeks and weeks ago!

Yep never had a problem with donna at all! But i had things posted in nov that still havent come! Even had a tracking number and it STILL says being processed!!! Royal mail are the biggest load of **** ever!! I wouldo maybe be a bit more patient and see what happens hun. Most things do normally turn up eventually and its not the sellers fault!

I'm missing loads of nappies that I purchased. All preloved, most mailed early last week. There's definitely something going wrong with RM at the moment.

Just to add, going for recorded delivery isn't necessarily the best way to go. You usually have to wait 14 days to claim a refund but with recorded, they have 14 days to deliver and if for some reason they 'can't' (my customer never received a red card) you have to wait yet another 14 days before making a claim. So the item I posted to my customer on 9 December ended up arriving with her on 14 January after I sent it a second time :grr:

I've just received another email from Donna so hopefully my nappy covers should arrive soon - I'll be waiting by the letter box with my lanolising solution! :D

I just wanted to say that recorded delivery is a complete rip off! You get no extra insurance, no quicker service, and our postman, and I believe most postmen, don't even bother to get a signature. I once had a parcel sent recorded delivery, and it didn't arrive. When I tracked it, it had been signed for as delivered by someone I had never heard of, and could not possibly have been a neighbour. After a lot of time wasted tracing it, it turned out that the post office had signed the receipt, and they still had it! So paying 75p for recorded delivery is a complete waste of money.
Your parcel is still only insured up to a value of £41, and as long as you get a proof of posting (which is free) your parcel is insured to that value anyway!!!

never had anything but excellent service from donna, shes a star :)
