How do you go about it? Who do you complain to? Id rather do it in letter than on phone or in person as i tend to back down.

Ive written a letter (a very lengthy one ) and dont know who i can complain to, anyone know? thanks?

Your Modern Matron at your hospital will help.

i need to complain not pnly about my Midwives, who are usless, but about my consulatant led care. Nothing terrible, just no one will give me answers as "im too early" and despite being a twin pregnancy i wont see someone for 5 weeks!

So should I just google singletons maternity unit? and send it there?

Hi Eternal, I had a complaint about a note on my medical chart and I talked to the social worker in charge. She's very nice and said that she would talk to the nurse who wrote it. I also wrote a note explaining the incident and left it with her. You should try to get in charge with a social worker if there is one at your hospital. Good luck :)

My mil works in records she is one of the heads of our hospital for managing the transfer of notes to computerised system and she had a sneaky look and my noted were everywhere it is absolutely no wonder that I'm struggling to get a straight answer! I haven't complained yet but there are still 8 weeks to go and last appointment there was a trainee there and I wasn't given the option of her doing my checks or not. She then told me my gd results were fine which they weren't and wasnt very accurate :(

If you are at all unhappy voice those concerns and if need be complain, the nhs aren't in a hurry to do anything for anyone but you don't have to settle for this-my hospital will squeeze me in somewhere if they have been told they are to see me at 32 weeks that's when they see me quite lucky I suppose!
