My last labor and delivery didn't go well. I ended up being pushed to get an emergency csection which didn't go well. Sadly, I almost lost my life.

So I'm considering using a doula this time. Anyone used one? Did it make a difference?

I did.

She was a-maz-ing.

Meet them first to check you click.

I wanted someone easy going and chatty but highly sensitive so knew when not to talk and to just "be". She was young and a mum of 2 herself and was fabulous.

Thanks for sharing. I've been researching online and have not heard of a bad experience yet. I guess if you don't click like you said.

I'm really hoping to have a vbac this go around. I think I need somebody to possibly support my decision to not have a lot of medical intervention. Last time I felt like the hospital used fear tactics to push me along.

I definitely need somebody to help me keep calm. I have a lot of anxiety just thinking about my last labor and delivery.
