Anyone else caught first real quickly and took longer for second..?

I have my little boy who is 3 in November and got pregnant with him on the first month of trying.

We were on about trying again last year but I wanted to wait. We decided to start trying again in June and it's still not happening. I cant help but feel depressed and sad. The witch has caught me again this morning after another failed month, feel like an emotional wreck which is ridiculous as I know some people take months or even years. I have lots going on at the mo with home/work life and also suffer with excruciating pressure pains around the time of my period which I am waiting to see a specialist about.. Feel deflated today!

Has anyone else been as lucky as my with one and took much longer with there second..?

Yes!
We got pregnant first time last time - hadn't even seriously started trying.. just spoke about it and BOOM it happened. Same as you - no happened yet. But we haven't been trying that long. I think it is worst when you are consciously trying - you can't stop thinking about it. PLUS everyone else seems to be pregnant.

We managed to get pregnant on our 3rd cycle with our first and we're onto the 6th cycle now. I'm not worrying too much just yet, sometimes it does take longer. Fingers crossed it happens for you soon!

My daughter took 5 cycles l, so not so quick for me, but I have heard that if you fall pregnant quickly with your first, it sometimes takes a little longer to concieve your second.

Yep, my first LO was the product of exactly one 'oopsie', we weren't trying and we were extremely surprised! We are now in month 4 of trying for our second, which is a bit of a shock since LO happened so easily. I am still breastfeeding him though, so I don't know if that has something to do with it or not.

yes haha i got preg by accident on my first oops, crazy to think about really. Now i'm going onto my third cycle and no baby yet i've alsohad 2 miscarriages that i got preg on first or second try so i'm worried. I have an ultrasound booked even though my doctor informed it can take up to a year.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to it. My best friend took months first time and quickly conceived her second.
