Today I saw my fertility specialist for the last time (G-d willing!!). I am 9+6 weeks - they monitored me every week with blood work and ultrasounds. My HCG and progesterone are great. The baby is growing like it should and has a strong heartbeat each week we go in! I can't believe I have to leave my FS office though, I got to know all the nurses there and was so comfortable. I espeically loved getting a scan anytime I wanted :haha:

This week will be my first OB/GYN appointment. Not sure what to expect. I hope they will take as good of care of me as my FS did!!! But either way, its a huge milestone, I hope that means I will be in the clear for the next 7 months!!!

Anyone else is the same boat????

ps. This was a picture of my scan. I have been checking out other peoples and it seems to be such a huge different between 10 week and 12 weeks.....is that normal??? People's 12 week scan look like a huge legit baby! Mine still looks a little tadpole'ish :)

I was released from my fertility doctors after my first scan where we heard/saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks 2days. I have my first appointment with my regular doctor tomorrow morning.

IUI graduate here. We were released after our 9 week scan. Missing the regular scans and advice - although they did say anytime we were worried to contact them. Still have 13 days til my proper NHS scan

Hey! So my OB appointment was horrible!
I miss my RE so much! My last scan at my RE was at 9+5 weeks. My OB said the next time I will get a scan will be at 20 WEEKS! I was in shock!!!

How do they know that everything is fine??? What if something happened and I don't find out for another 10 weeks!!! I'm freaking out!!!

I had this experience with my previous pregnancy. After all the special care you receive from your FS, it seems extremely odd to be sitting waiting at the Ob/GYN where you are just one among the many. I truly missed my RE because I never felt like my Ob cared as much. There I was just another pregnant woman. While the nurses at my RE's office were so sweet and considerate at every step.
Eventually you get used to it.
