Elyse is such a little grump ALL THE TIME.. well actually that's a lie, she's not always grouchy but she never seems "happy"... is this just a phase because she's young or are all babies different? She just seems way too serious for a little baby? lol. Did anyone else have a baby like this?
My youngest daughter was like that , every picture I have of her she has a frown , but she is so darn cute , she looks like a model with that so serious face . I will have to post some pics of her .
Thanks very reassuring! Elyse is always doing these mean faces and giving me, what from an adult would be, dirty looks (doing weird things with her eyebrows etc.) lol.
There is the fact that Elyse is still quite young and probably just recently learned how to smile? They start really showing their personalities at around 4 months.
Agree with Nikky. Hannah's always been a fairly serious baby..........we really have to work to get her to laugh at us though she does smile more now. If she's ever taken into a new situation (place/people) she tends to withdraw though and looks as though she's inspecting everyone and everything

Dylan was like that up until he started to smile a lot. He's not grumpy, just gives us dirty looks and constantly looks like hes trying to figure things out. He's always raising his eyebrows at us too. Its only been the past few weeks hes started to smile at us properly and in reaction to us doing something. She'll probably stop looking grumpy soon
I used to say I had a serious/grumpy baby. But at two months she has started smiling and talking. She's still grumpy at times though. Here's a typical picture of her at 6 weeks.
