Anyone elses lo wake at 4am on the dot ?

Well lucie is great in the day entertains herself really well , full of smiles etc and goes to sleep fine with no fuss but only for 45 mins at a time every hour and a half . shes bath bottle bed by 7 straight to sleep i dream feed at 10;30 and goes back fine . but seems to wake at 4 with a strange quiet cry ? she has a dummy sometimes so that goes in but i must get up 4 5 times from then till 6 , then she wakes up propper smiles etc at 7 and eats at 8 so she cant be hungry , i feel shes woken up and isnt ready to get up as shes still rubbing eyes , but cant get back to sleep maybe , some times i have fed her and shes gone straight back to sleep but dont want to do that just in case it becoms a habit because she doesnt wake up hungry .

Any sugestion on what to do , is anyone elses lo doing this and what do you do

Well my LO is 6 months old and wakes around the same time every night!!!

She sleeps well in the day again only 45mins but every 3 hours and goes to bed by 7 with no issues however between 4-430 she wakes up and has a feed (5oz)

I have tried just rocking her off to sleep but she wakes up as soon as i put her down!

She does have her last bottle at 6.30pm so it is a long time for her to go between! She will then get up around 7 and has her breakfast at 8 then bottle at 9am!

Your LO might be going through a growth spurt and may need a bit more food? Do you BF or bottle? It would be interesting to see how much she does take if you feed her- I think with my LO downing 5oz she must be hungry! if it was 1/2oz I would think its just comfort!!

Yep my LO, exactly 4!! She goes down about 8 and sleeps through, but since last week she's started snuffling at . I put her dummy back in and then usually again about 5.30, sometimes in between to. Then she wakes at 6.30 7 ish for feed and thats it til 8. Can almost set my clock by it. Initially I thought she was cold, but added her vest and its made no difference.

My lo used to wake up at exactly 4 - probably from around 5mths to just turned 6mths if I remember rightly. I was messing around with her daily naps at the time, trying to find a schedule that worked well for us. I found that if I let lo nap too early in the morning after waking up properly, she wakes up early again the next day - 4am! Only stirring/playing and then she'd go back to sleep. We've moved her morning nap back to 9.30ish and now she doesn't wake up.

Not sure if something similar is happening with your lo but thought it was worth considering?

Yes, but nothing I did worked - he simply had to outgrow it. He now usually wakes at 5:00-5:30am for the day, some are just early risers He still takes a feed at 2-3am too.

well she didnt do it last night ? it seems to be every other night , very strange x
