Anyone ever experience this?

Hello Ladies! I am from the TTC section trying to gather some info!

I was wondering if any of you had regular ovulation...KNEW when you were ovulating based on CM and what not and one month had zero signs of ovulation only to find out it was because you were pregnant???

I have been trying to read up everywhere but, shows nothing. I found 2 women who said that happened to them but, I need more.

Been TTC for 2 years with DH. SA shows good. I always knew when I was ovulating(mainly because of my CM changes around my fertile week). I have been following this method for just over a year and never missed ovulation. This month, my ovulation signs are non-existant! Dunno if its because I just fluked and didn't ovulate, ovulated early and didn't realize or because I am preggo. Wont know til the beginning of December.

I don't think you will be able to tell which of the above is the most likely until you test hun. Don't quote me on this but if you test negative and have a lighter period than normal then that could indicate that you hadn't ovulated. If negative and a normal period then likely you didn't notice you had ovulated and it may have happened earlier/later than expected. If positive then goes without saying it was because you were pregnant already . Keep us posted on your progress and lots of baby dust to you xx

I had been ttc for 6 years and if i'm honest i wouldn't base your ovulation around cm only. This is my second pregnancy this year and what i have noticed both times is that i get ewcm about 4 days prior to ovulation, if i relied on this only i would miss ovulation both times and this is what i think had been happening for the 5 years prior. I would chart your temps and do opk to ensure you are ovulating and at the right time, you maybe surprised. As i had ewcm too early i tried pre-seed this month and it was successful for us.

My last cycle I had 12 days of EWCM! I ovulated at the end of those 12 days and only knew because of my OPKs. I think it's great obv to have EWCM but relying purely on that for detecting ovulation can be a bit hit and miss. Good luck x

Speaking of CM... the month I got my BFP I had NO ewcm! I knew I ovulated because I used OPK's, but CM and CP were useless.

BabyH- That's interesting. Why would my period be lighter if I DIDN'T ovulate?

I know that relying on CM isn't always reliable so, I always make sure to cover my tracks by the few days leading up to when my fertile week STARTS all the way until my expected ovulation date. This month, we stared 4 days before my fertile week was to even begin which is why I was thinking maybe I did ovulated early and ended up catching that little egg!

I do want to mention, I used to use OPK's/O tests back when I first started tracking and started seeing a pattern so, decided I didn't need the tests anymore. I pretty much knew everytime and didn't want to waste money on the tests anymore if I could tell based on my body changes which included sore nipples/pains in my ovary area/CM and feeling a little hotter.

All in all, I have no idea what actually happened this month so, I will have to continue til next month.
