Anyone experience this?

Last week we had to deal with a work issue so we dropped the kids off for the day at my friend's house. Chase was there all day while my other kids went off to school.

My OH and I would pick them up in the evening and Chase would barely look at me and went straight to dad. Yep, didn't make me feel good! It actually tore at my heartstrings.

There was a few evenings last week where I would try to put him to bed and it took an hour for him to calm down.

Anyhow, it took 2 days of getting back into his normal routine at home before he started warming up to me and not going to his dad all the time.

I think Chase was pissed off at me for leaving him.

Anyone else experience this?

Daddy is pleased as punch as he thinks Chase is a daddy's boy.

My little girl has done this a couple of times when ive left her or done something to p1ss her off, doesnt take as long as two days for her to come round tho he must have been well annoyed!

She can give me some proper evils sometimes little madam

Hannah went through an all daddy phase very recently, for weeks she wouldn't let me do anything for her she'd pull a face and point to Stan, it was irritating
