Hello everyone, I wondered if there was anyone on here from London? I would love to make some friends online who live close by, I am nearly 10 weeks along and from the SW London area. Hope I get some replies :)

Hey I am in Herts but I am moving to Aylesbury on Friday but still not very far from London lol

Congrats on your pregnancy :flower:

I am just down the M3 not in London but not far out:flower:

I'm not in London but in Luton..not that far :)

Not in London, but in Hertfordshire too, so not all that far either.

Hi Snoopy & Loukachu

I'm in SW London and am 8wks. Sooo excited but also scared as it's taken a long time to get preggo - but I did see our bean's heartbeat on Friday as I had an early scan. It's really hard not telling anyone too as I want to shout it from the rooftops (and let everyone know that I feel rough in the mornings as well!)

When are you booked in for your 12wk scan? mine's on 22nd March

Hi everyone, glad to see so many Londoners/close to Londoners! ;) how are you all? I am 10 weeks along now, due September 23rd. How old are you all? I am 26 and this is my first baby :)

Hello to fellow SW Londoners Mrs Elsie and Loukachu!! How far along are you guys? I am from the Putney area and having the baby at Kingston which s about 40 mins from me, shame it's not Queen Mary's as I am only 10 mins away!

My 12 week scan is 12th march, counting the days :) x

Oh and I know how you feel about not telling anyone!! I have to admit I have told quite a few people already but not officially announced yet.

Snoopy, you can choose to deliver wherever you want. When I lived in Slough, I considered delivering at St Thomas' because it's so nice!

I'm 33, this is my second baby, third pregnancy and I'm planning a home birth.

Thank you MandaAnda, I am afraid I wouldn't be able to deliver at queen Mary's even if I waned to, they don't have a maternity department anymore :( but I have heard good things about Kingston :)

I'm 31 (for now), and this is my first. Our dates match at 10 weeks, even for the 12 week scan on the 12th. I'm in the afternoon at 3:20 :happydance:

I live in Chessington, around 3 miles or so from Kingston and I gave birth to my son at Kingston hospital. They were really good, no issues except the postnatal ward staff I had when I was in there were a little pushy and insensitive. But that wasn't all of them, and I'm sure you get that anywhere! X

Still waiting for my appointment. Called midwives last week and they said I am in the system. Annoying though as my friend is 8 weeks and had hers already
