my grandma jus bought me a ford ka nd i've just started to worry that it might be too small... its perfect on every other count - insurance / tax/ petrol/ etc...

its just me nd finn so the car seat was gonna go in the front seat anyway... but how does everyone manage with the small boot??
i've looked nd the pram should fit... but not actually had chance to test it out...

does everyone else manage??

xx

it should be big enough i drive a 7 seater but only cause i have 4 kids now, but i dont have a boot my 2 bk seats are in the boot u have to fold them so its not the biggest,

i think my should be okay but not been out yet.

can u put the child seat in the front i thought u couldnt cause of air bags?

I dont think there's a front airbag in ford ka's on the passenger side. My friend has one.
I managed to fit the mamas and papas luna in Ka.
No way I would've got my travel system in there though. xx

I've got one! my pushchair folds up really small (M & P Aria) so its not a prob. I did originally have a pushchair that was way too long so had to get rid of it. I use the back seats for shopping and stuff as its usually just me and LO. I put the car seat in the back or the front and its really not a problem. Such an economical car too - a tank of petrol can last me two weeks!

I don't have a Ford Ka, but I do have a clio and my mum has a Ford Puma. The buggy (Icandy Cherry) fits into both totally fine. I don't have Evan in the front but thats cos I can't drive yet so I go in the front, he goes in the back fine, although it is a squeeze in the Puma cos of bucket seats. I rely on the maxicosi base though because the carseat easily clicks in instead of keep strapping it in and being on my own it will be more convienient :)

Hope it all fits fine and well done congrats on Finn :hugs: :flower:

I dont have one (Ive got a Peugeot 307) but my sister has and we cant fit the trolley from the travel system we`ve got into the boot, it has to go in the front foot well but even thats a squash. I put Jess in her car seat on the back seat but as its only 2 door, its a nightmare! My sister cringes every time I ask her to take us anywhere as I gotta be truthful and say its a nightmare.

i have a ford ka. and a babystyle 3 in 1 travel sytem which is massive. i put LO in the front with me. top of pram in the boot and frame of pram on the back seat and Oh goes on the other back seat. its a tight squeeze so going to get a buggeyfor the car and eventually well get a bigger car. not because of the space but more because i want 5 doors to get the little man in the back of the car when he gets his new carseat. the boot space does me fine but ive never had bigger so dont know any different. back seat go down easily too so sometimes i do that and just throw everything on top of the folded down seats. hope this helps :) xx

cheers guys... from the sounds of it, until i get a smaller lightweight buggy i'll have to put one of the back seats down to fit pram in.
that won't be a problem for me tho as its jus me nd finn... if anyone wants a lift they'll have to get the bus :p
xx
