Anyone had a previous section in the uk?

Hi ladies..

Just wondered if any of you have had a c section in a previous pregnancy and if so when you became pregnant again how did the advice differ?

I had an emcs but a pretty normal pregnancy so i only had normal mw appointments and scans etc.

I just wondered if I ever have another baby would it be different? And do they push for you to have another section or a vbac?

I had an emcs last time but my consultant is happy for a vbac this time.

I had an emergency section with my DD and to be honest nothing really has been different this time round, normal amount of appointments, my midwife suggested a VBAC which is what I'm hoping for I've been referred to the consultant but still haven't seen her! Xx

I had an emcs last time due to failure to progress - they are very happy for mebto have a vbac (not sure if I am yet tho!)

I think it depends on your reason for having the previous section as to what they advise x
