Anyone had the same problem??

I have been ttc nearly a year now, during this time I have only had 3 periods!!
I have had several blood tests which all came back as normal, also I had a scan on my ovaries which showed everything was fine.

My periods have always been this irregular when not on the pill but I guess I was hoping they may had changed over the passed few using using the pill.

I am currently overweight but have joined a slimming group which is going well so far, maybe this will help but I was a healthy weight several years ago and still only had 3 or 4 periods a year.

Tomorrow I will book an appointment with a gyno but was wondering if anyone has gone through anything similar and might know why this happens or what they might say/do at my appointment.

Do you know if you are ovulating ? Have you had cd21 bloods done? X

I haven't had cd21 bloods done as I haven't started a cycle for several months now, only had these tests done over the past 3 months. I don't know if I ovulate
I hoping it wont be a long wait for my appointment so I can get some answers soon

I think that is the starting point. Not ovulating could explain the irregular cycles. Good luck xxx
