There is a Mamas & Papas Sola stroller at a consignment shop where I live- I'm gonna go check it out this Friday. It's a great deal (less than 1/2 the price of a new one)- it's in great shape... but, I've NO clue if this is a good stroller? Lightweight? Easy to manuever etc...

Anyone?

My other thought is to get the Inglesina Trip Stroller... it has all that I would want in a lightweight stroller- but it only faces out (not parent facing and I'd really like that feature). I have that feature on my Guzzie & Guss 102- but it's heavy for smaller day trips- so it pretty much stays home for walks or taken out for longer day trips to the zoo etc... I love it though otherwise. I just want something lightweight- with a belly bar (a must) and easy to handle/manuever...

Sola? Thoughts? Thanks ladies ;)

How old is LO? I had the sola but had to sell it when my boy was about 18 months as he got heavier so did the pushchair when going up hill!! I did love love love it though and would def have it again from birth xx

She's 16 mos and barely 21lbs. It's rated to 50lbs... maybe that's not really accurate? The Iglesina is rated to 55lbs- and looks to be a bit sturdier for bigger kids... so maybe I should go that route. I just love that you can forward or parent face the Sola!

I have another G&G stroller for walks and heavier pushing- it's great- so this would just be for smaller trips, malls, around town etc...

I have one and still love it. I also have an out n about nipper for the park and long walks. But love my sola for shopping trips.

I love my Sola! Very easy to menouvre and great for shopping and long walks

Hmmm... I better hope it's still there on Friday (that's the first chance I have to get out to the store for it)- cause now I really want to try it out!!! LOL

I love my Sola but I find it quite bulky compared to other strollers, I'm looking at getting a cosatto yo or something like that now LO is older. Its quite big when it's folded down to and LO seems to be getting a bit big to get in and out of it easily (mainly because the bumper bar is quite low).
I'd definitely have another one with my next LO though and probably change it around the 18month mark again, they're nice to push and I haven't had any problems with it.
