Anyone heard of / tried the Shnuggle moses basket?

I posted the other day about how I don't quite know what to do about baby's sleeping for first 6 months as would like to use a moses basket and keep baby in room for first 6 months, but they grow out of them after 3-4 months.

I just found out about the Shnuggle https://www.shnuggle.com which is bigger than most moses baskets. They say it can last a baby up to 6 months. In its info, it says:

'Shnuggle is suitable for babies aged under 6 months, less than 9kg, and cannot sit up or roll over unaided.'

I'm thinking though: don't babies start rolling over etc before 6 months anyway? Or do they? *clueless mum2be*

Hey I havent heard of them before but I just checked out the website & the mattress required for it is the same size as a lot of moses baskets 28 x 74/75 so Im not sure whether it would last any longer..

Some babies do start rolling sooner, my first was crawling by 5 months & my 2nd was rolling onto his front by 4.

I just wanted to answer your question about size / age.

Shnuggle can be used right up to 6 months, as although the mattress is standard, the upper part is longer and wider which means baby doesn't hit off the sides when they wave their little arms and legs about.

Some babies will start to roll over before 6 months, and this is when it's time for the cot.

Midwifed recommend baby 'rooms in' with you for the first 6 months, and Shnuggle is great for that. (And its portable, downstairs in the daytime and upstairs at night)
