Anyone know the advice on vomiting/high temp in first tri?

I think it's a bug as my body hurts like fingers, like I have a high temp even though I don't feel boiling except when I'm sick. but have felt like I can't get warm on and off. anyone k ow the advice on high temp in first tri? I can't take anything for it and I just vomit it back up straight away

I caught a vomiting and diahorrea bug at 5 weeks. Think the advice is no pepto bismol or anti diahorrea tablets and lots of water. I had a temperature too but couldn't take any paracetamol until I stopped being sick. It was horrible and I just had to ride it out. NHS direct said baby would be fine. Hope you feel better soon xx

I've just got over something similar by the sounds of it. I've been so worried too. I hope everything is okay. From what I've read I think baby is fairly well protected! x

Take acetaminophen/paracetemol if you can. Stay hydrated and cool. Get medical attention if you can't keep water down, vomit blood, or have dark/dehydrated-appearing urine.
