Anyone need a buddy?

I'm 39 and we're trying to conceive again. This month I'm out, the came and now I guess I'm starting a new cycle. I would love someone to talk with about this. My DH wants one, but it's all consuming to me. This month has been hard on me. I feel like I messed up, cause when I ovulated we got in an argument, (my fault) and I think I missed a good chance. I'm not quite sure about all the ovulation stuff and charting, so anyone who would like to be my TTC buddy, just pm me or respond here.

I just would REALLY love a buddy to talk too. My hubby ain't to much on the baby talk and don't really understand all that us women go through.

I'm on CD 5 right now - so a little ahead (well I'm guessing it's day 5, I had a D&C on friday so am using that as my starting point with Saturday as day 1)...

That would be wonderful. I'm not fully bleeding yet, just a little spotting, but I'm sure by in the morning it will be full blown. We're only 4 days apart, so that is great. Just pm me your info and I'll give ya mine. I'm new to the buddy system, but I figured it would be alot better with someone around the same age as me so we could help each other out better with what's going on. I've just been so today. At least now I'll have a buddy. And any tips on being able to keep track of each other on here any better. I get lost in the posts sometimes, I can't even find my own.

Is the charting about the temp thing?

just click on my name and it will give you about four options and one is to send me a private message (pm) and that way you can give me your email. Or just talk on here with private messages.

Here are some of what some of the abbreviations means if this helps.

AF = Aunt Flo = period
BFP = positive pregnancy test
BFN = negative pregnancy test
OPK = ovulation prediction kit
CD = cycle day e.g. CD4 = cycle day 4
DPO = days post ovulation e.g. 10DPO = 10 days after ovulation
CM = cervical mucus
EWCM = egg white cervical mucus (appears close to ovulation)
CP = Cervix postion
LO = little one
EPO = evening primrose oil
SI = soy isoflavones

And the charting thing, it is all new to me. All I know right now is I started AF yesterday, so I'll start using my ovulation tests about 4 days after I am off of AF. Ya'll pm me or post here now and I'll try to keep up better!

Thank you so much brutus the initials help me, some i had right but some could not figure out. I am day three of missed af, not really unusual but i have no symptoms of it coming either which is extremely unusual.. I have tested twice with a bfn since being late and cant for the life of me figure out where the heck af and her symptoms are since the tests were negative. In the next cpl days i hope to read more up on charting and see how its done will share what i learn.

If I'm able to conceive one more, it will be my 5th and last. I met the absolute love of my life and we just had one child together, and that is the only one he has, besides being the step father to my other 3. I would like another girl. I have a 17 year old girl, and a 10 year old boy, and a 13 year old boy, and Tristan who will be 3 months old on the 15th.

Right now I'm just bummed beyond belief due to af being here.

i am on cd3 and also hoping september is my month, but am having major surgery on my hand right around ovulation this month so its hard to tell if i will be able to tolerate doing the deed, it would be great if surgery could wait until after but i am at the mercy of workers comp so will have to do my best to work around it. good luck to you all

Well I'm trying to leave hubby alone, so maybe he will be more open to dtd more when it is time too. If I could I would be on him like white on rice all the time, but I don't think he could take so much of me. I am absolutely in love with my hubby and love to dtd with him. I don't think he realizes how much I love him.

Poor baby, he don't realize what he got into when he married me. lol.

Last year I conceived October 2nd. Maybe this year it will be this month. I would like it to be because September is a hard month for me. Way too many bad things have always happened in September to me. I hope my luck has finally changed.

well Brutus look on the bright side leaving your hubby be for now will save up the boys for ya lol, perhaps you will get the month your after. Myself i dont even know if trying is going to be in the picture this month am having major surgery on my hand on monday and will only be a week out of surgery when ovulating dont know if i can handle it, hand surgery is extremely painful so who knows if i will be able to handle well the sex. lol

I'd have to get a quickie or two. Nothing a few pain pills won't cure for a few minutes. A little will do you alot of good.
