anyone not gaining weight?

Just wondering if anyone else put there has failed to really put on any weight.

I had severe morning sickness during first tri and lost 2kg but since around week 14 when it eased off and I put that back on, I've pretty much stayed the same weight. I'm 22 weeks now and was expecting ti have gained (particularly as the women in my family tend to.gain a lot during pregnancy) but each time I get on the scales its pretty much consistent.

I had a normal bmi to begin with and to be honest havent exactly had the best diet since I got pregnant (i dont overeat or anything but i probably have more days where I think chips amd pies are a must than not!).

Bub seems to be fine and the kicks feel stronger each week but I cant help but worry as I definitely didnt expect this. If anything Ive always been the type of person who struggles to maintain a healthy weight.
 
I'm not as far along as you but I haven't put on any weight. I've actually lost weight. I am overweight to begin with. I weighed 186lbs at my first appt. At my second appt I weighed 178 lbs and Im still hovering around that weight. I'm trying to eat healthier and not go out as much. I think that's why I've lost weight. I'm terrified of gaining too much weight. I gained 50 lbs with my dd and I ended up with preeclampsia and an awful birth experience and refuse to let that happen again!
 
Different women carry differently :) I have so far only put on 2 pounds during this pregnancy and during my last pregnancy only put on 11lbs throughout the whole pregnancy, whilst my best friend has already put a stone on at 27 weeks. I wouldn’t worry too much if your baby is growing OK at the scan you had then I wouldn’t worry :) I would take it as a positive there will be less weight for you to lose after birth :) xx
 
I'm not as far along as you either,I'm only 13 weeks, but I'm the same - so far! I lost 6lbs during morning sickness and have only put 2 lbs back on. I've been the same with food, can't get enough of bad stuff and could eat it all day if I let myself. I was very fit before I got pregnant, running 30+ miles a week but that has tailed of dramatically due to the morning sickness. I'm now wondering if I'm losing muscle mass and that's why I'm not putting any weight on. But I suppose if baby is fine then its ok, everyone is different.
 
I am 21wks and I have put on 2lb that's it! My bmi was 'normal' befriend I got pregnant and I find myself weighing myself to see if I have put on any weight. My diet hasn't been the best mcdonalds is my downfall at the moment but I haven't put any weight on since the 2lb I put on at 16wks x
 
I have so far actually lost 10 pounds so far, with dd2 I lost 32 lbs. I'm already plus size but drs weren't too concerned till closer to the end last time
 
I lost 6kgs in 1st tri, then gained 1.5kgs in 2nd.. now I'm just getting into third tri & I've gained 2.2kgs.. I guess they'll start packing it on from here!
I haven't had the healthiest diet either.
 
IM the same, 21 weeks, normal bmi and still at the same weight, huge bump and baby is doing great growing and kicking like crazy, just hope i don't start piling it on from here!
my diet isn't the best, i just eat what i feel like, atm.its hash brown cheese and ham sandwiches!! Lol
 
i haven't really gained anything, i am 16 weeks. I gained 2lbs when i was away to new york on holiday when i was 11 weeks. hoping to keep my weight gain to a minimum as I'm already overweight
 
I got weighed today as I don't keep scales in the house, I'm exactly the same weight as pre-pregnancy even though I clearly have a bump and I haven't had any morning sickness, severe nausea but no sickness. I was the same in my last pregnancy I don't think I started putting on any weight until I was around 28 weeks pregnant and I put on around 10lb in total, then 2 weeks after the birth I was about 10lb lighter than pre-pregnancy. Thinking the same happening this time even though I think my bump is bigger this time around, I heard the girl next to me say she had put on over 30lb and she was only 22 weeks, so everyone is different. I'm not too worried about weight gain, I eat when I'm hungry and that seems to be a lot at the minute so was very surprised at weight, but as long as baby is healthy xx
 
I lost 15lbs from last 5 weeks or so. I was ok with MS but it seems to have come back last 2 days. I am obese so not taking much into it just yet as still early but it is not what I thought would happen!

All along Ihave eaten what sounds good/like it will settle and when ok I eat good meals so it will all even out in my mind:)
 
I'm in the "normal" weight range, although on the higher end of the spectrum...and I have gained exactly ZERO! I look bigger because my weight shifted and I now have a significant bump but my weight has not changed a bit in 15 weeks of pregnancy. My doctor says its completely okay and fairly common. If I were a tiny woman to begin with it could be an issue but lucky babies are parasites who take whatever THEY need to grow. :)
 
Thanks ladies. I feel better knowing it can be normal for others too. I guess some of it may be due to loss of muscle mass as well as Im not as active now as well. It seems like you just worry about EVERYTHING when you're pregnant. I dont know why obsessive worry isnt listed as a common symptom!
 
I agree about the obsessive worrying as a symptom. Lol ...i guess its better to be somewhat cautious rather than careless though, right? :)
 
Had really bad MS/all day nausea with my last and lost a lot of weight so only got back to pre pregnancy weight at the end of 20's weeks, so was only in last 10 week I was putting on weight.
 
I haven't gained. In fact I'm losing weight :-? I've lost 9kg since Christmas and even though belly is clearly growing and I must be putting on weight, the scales are going down. I was a bit overweight to start (size 16-18) but loving this to be honest!! Haha xx
