This just seems odd to me when I compare it to what I've always heard. I've still not had to put breast pads in my bra. When Jack cries, I don't spring a leak. And I don't even feel a noticeable "let-down" when I hear him cry or feed him.
I'm not worried about my supply or anything, as I know he gets enough. He's demand fed and goes anywhere from 2-5 hours and feeds anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on each feed. He's a satisfied baby and had regained his birth weight by day 10 (I've not had him weighed again yet - I was going to wait until 4 weeks - but he has plenty of wet and dirty nappies and shows no signs of dehydration).
So, this isn't me freaking out that he's not getting enough or that my supply isn't what it should be (I even tried out my manual pump the other day after feeding him and easily got 30ml/1oz [I'm planning on expressing and donating milk]), it's just that I find it odd that I've never noticed leaking or let-down (I can easily hand express a bit onto my nipple at any time though). Anyone else?
