This is one of my local hospitals and they have been asking people due from November (i think) if they would agree to be filmed for the one born every minute documentary. I would never do this as hate being on film at the best of time - let alone with my legs in the air! ha ha

but loved watching the show (altho don't tell my NCT teacher as she thought it was terrible!!!) so just wondering if any of you are or would join in? You get paid £1k apparently.

Oooooh no would not like that!! Although I also admit I did enjoy watching it I could never do it myself! x

i'm doing it at princess anne hospital in southampton this month

havent heard anything about getting paid though so dont think that bit is true but tune in in january and you'll see me haha

i probs have to have a c-section though so i wont need to worry about the nation seeing bits of my hoo har by mistake lol x

Oh wow, I'd consider doing it if I lived in southampton! x

Not my area, but even if it was, not on your nelly!

you're brave princess! glad some people do agree to it tho so it means we get to watch it in January! Good luck!

I think I'd do it... just make sure the camera stays up the right end though (MY HEAD!!!)!! I saw something in the antenatal clinic at my hospital (Northwick Park, London) asking for volunteers to be being filmed for a TV programme but it was asking for mum's under the age of 18 and over the age of 40, don't think it was One Born Every Minute!! x

Oh I would do this if it was at my hospital and I wasn't planning a homebirth

How exciting! I'm so pleased they are making another series.

I would never get chosen for that programme even if I wanted to do it. I've had such a boring straightforward pregnancy (not complaining) that H always says "we'd never make it onto One Born Every Minute - we're not interesting enough!" :haha:

yayyyy glad its back on i luv these documentrys , id consider it if they didnt film my minky part lol , be lookin out for u in jan then xx

Every time I go to the GP surgery I get cornered by someone asking me if I want to be on the programme!

I probably would do it but as they're only filming from August to end of October, I just miss out on dates.

Not sure where getting paid comes into it....you don't get paid! You do get to see your footage before it's aired in January though.

In the Princess Anne, you can see their production office as you walk along the corridor...was in last week and saw lots of people and tv monitors.

Doh! I meant Princess Anne...baby brain is getting real bad. I keep saying really stupid things and forgetting things that happened 5 minutes ago!
