every1 in my female side of my family (and my mom has 7 sisters) has been diagnosed with endometreosis so i am bound to get it eventually. have u ever heard of laproscopy they go through you belly button to remove endo. i wouldnt say it's non invasive but it would hurt to talk to your doc about it GL to you hun. :dust:

yes ive had 2-one to investigate where they found severe endometriosis and the second to have it burnt it away.
that was over a year ago now, but im starting to have pain again so i think its growing back

thanks xxx

Hi Kellym and welcome. Im 27 and was diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS in 2004. The pain you are experiencing could be the endometriosis growing back or new endo forming. I had surgery in 2004 to have it removed and went back late 2005 for a diagnostic laparoscopy to be told that I had more endo.

I have been with my partner for almost 4 years and since we have been together we have had 3 miscarriages but in October last year I gave birth to a healthy girl. Are you still under a gynaecologist as it may be worth asking to be seen by them. They may offer another laparoscopy to have a look and especially if you are trying to conceive. The laparoscopy might help with this as we conceived naturally not long after I had various pockets of endometriosis removed.

Chin up though :hugs:, I am a proof as are lots of other ladies that having endometriosis does not mean you cant have children. Hopefully your dr/gynaecologist can get to the bottom of your pain and fingers crossed you get a positive pregnancy test soon.

thanks so much for replying.

i have one 13 year old son-we've been trying for baby #2 for 12 years.

i also had injections every month for 6 months to put me through the menopause to try and dry my womb up but that never worked.

i had a blighted ovum in 2005 too.

good luck to us all :dust:

my sister has really bad endo, so did my mother and she had a hysterectomy at 34. But my sister accidently fell pregnant at 20, planned her second after being told that she wouldn't have much of a chance if she left it any longer (25) and got pregnant the first month, and got pregnant again accidently a third time about 10 months ago after she'd been warned she might have to have a hysterectomy (sp??)too.

Good luck - sending baby dust your way.

Hi

I know this was posted in March but I have just posted asking pretty much the same thing. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2008 and had a lot of this tissue removed. My pain isn't that bad at the moment, I get it around my hip / pelvis at the moment so I'm holding off going back to the docs.

I'm glad to read other peoples stories about this as there is not much support from my doc. I has an operation and nothing since, no follow up or anything, never saw a gynecologist or anything, do you think i should chase this up now that we have started trying?

How are you all getting on now?

Thought you might like to hear this...my sister has SEVERE endo as well and she has managed to have 3 beautiful, healthy children with no fertility help at all :)

Good luck to you!!

Thanks, it does make me feel better. Its early days for me and TTC but I just have the awful deep down worry. I really need to relax and go with it for a while.

i have adenomyosis which is different from endo but is none the less painful and upsetting. The only way to get rid of it is hysterectomy!!!! So I'm bearing with the pain and trying for baby number 2. Best of luck to everyone who knows the pain of endo. Does anyone have the same as me??? It would be nice to have some support.
