Anyone thinking about having a home birth? Are they safe the first time around?

    I'd like a water birth at home, but i dunno if its safe and if i'll be allowed for my first baby? :shrug:

    Hi, I'm not sure what the West Yorks policy is on this, but I know that in London, everyone is entitled to a home birth, as long as they have had no complications in their pregnancy.
    You can pick up water birthing kits off e bay for not a huge amount of money. You do need to make absolutely certain that your floor is strong enough to take the weight - they are quite big and weigh a ton when full (literally, I should think!).
