Anyone thread their brows?

did she do it herself or get it done?

Ouch! It hurts way more than waxing in my opinion! x x

They are doing it now at Cameron Toll, behind a screen in the middle of the mall! Would imagine that would be one of the cheaper places in Edinburgh to get it done!

I think my SIL used to have hers done, not sure about now though.. Am sure she said it was less painful if done properly?

Little Emla cream twice 30 mins & 15 mins before the threading really helps to ease the pain. I get mine done every 2-3 wks. Perfect. My eyebrows are thick & black & my skin is soooo white, threading is the only way to get them under control & in a good neat shape :)

I got mine done a few years ago in Kuwait, it was was way better than waxing! They were really quick at doing it and it lasted ages, I didn;t think it was that much more painfull.

I seen them doing it in Debenhams on 2 weeks ago next to the make up counters

I know my auntie gets hers done  she says its great a but more painful but its all over in the one go insted of them waxing differant bits n then tweezing the strays, im considering it but im scared it'll hurt ha! x

I get mine threaded. It doesn't hurt much, in fact I find it quite relaxing ! And I think it's neater x

I'm definitely thinking of getting mine done, once I've the cash to spare! They do it in the mall here without a screen or anything, lol they do teeth whitening right in the middle of the mall and acupressure massages too.

Theres a place in leith walk (i think its an indian clothes shop selling gorgeous sari materials and stuff) and theres a sign in the window saying £3!

I get mine threaded..Much better than waxing and i think it takes longer for the hair to grow back..Hurts me quite a bit though as hair is quite coarse x

I can always tell when people get theirs threaded because it IS waaay more neat and precise. Looks lovely. My eyebrows are quite dark for a natural blonde and they grow so quick :dohh:

i hate doing anything other than threading

i used to do it myself but its so cheap i get them done now

theres usually a lady in debenhams who does and it's ALWAYS half price for some reason

or you can go to a proper indian salon, they are FAB in there

The places in Leith Walk are meant to be pretty good- for £3 I would give it a go!

I like my brows, they have a nice natural arch so Im not too concerned with them mucking them up  I'll tell them I want them to stay full!

I can't reccommend threading enough - the best place to go to is the indian/asian salons - the women there are fab and you will pay a quarter of the price that you will pay in the department stores - near by me they charge between £2.50 - £4.00 - I have dark asian hair - and due to being being asian I am naturally a hairy mary so threading is the way to go as far as I am concerned. I get my upper lip and the sides of my face done too as well as eyebrows. eyebrows don't hurt as much as the upper lip and sides of the face.
