Hi girls,I've been reading up on past success posts on here and came across Maca..

I willing to try other natural supplements now as we've been ttc 11mths now..:nope:

I turn 41 tomorrow,so really need it to happen soon.we were on a break from TTC for couple of mths as it put alot of stress on our relationship and ttc..
It has done us the world of good

I have been doing acupuncture since August and it really has helped me de-stress.

So i'm back now with a bang and try again without all the stress..:happydance:

I've just ordered Maca Root Powder, Organic, Raw, Peruvian 1Kg
£18.00,it also comes in tablet form..

Would love to hear if anyone else has tried??

Here is just two of the links I've found..

I haven't tried Maca myself, but I would just urge a little bit of caution as it is a stimulant, it is not recommended for people who suffer from sleep disorders or anxiety.

^WSS If you suffer from insomnia (like me) :( do not take maca. I tried it once and it gave me the worst insomnia which carried on for a couple of months after I stopped taking it.

Also not recommended for anyone with high blood pressure bc of the stimulating effects.

Thanks girls for all your comments, very helpful..

I'll give it a try as I've ordered it already and will take early in morning, hope to god I'm not up all night..:haha:

I hope your all doing ok and we all get our :baby: whenever that may be..

:dust: to you all..xxx

Best of luck with the Maca, but do keep an eye on yourself and if you feel anxious or have troubles sleeping then stop it straight away

A lot of us are on COQ10 for egg quality, you might want to give that a go, it doesn't seem to have many adverse side effects - there's a thread on it on 35+

Thanks Northstar,I started on CoQ10 last friday..

I must go over to that thread, thanks your a star..:hugs: xxx

No worries, we get a bit raunchy on that thread too though, you have been warned :haha:

Hey Goldie,

Just wondering if you've tried the Maca yet and how it's affecting you? I've been on it for 2-3 weeks now and feel like it has been balancing my hormones a little bit and definitely helped me with the energy. I take one in the am, but haven't noticed any insomnia or anxiety now that my body has had a chance to adjust to it.
