Title pretty much says it all really, just wondered if anyone else is either in the same boat or got a bfp since tubal surgery. I had my surgery on March 18th , my consultant removed adhesions from both of my tubes the right tube being considerably worse than the left. He also freed the top of the left tube that attaches to the ovary as it was stuck to a wall. He told me that there is a 70% chance of them now staying unblocked. Have to have a hsg in July to check if tubes are clear and if they arent he has said he will request funding for ivf.

Hi there C&J! Yep, I had laparscopic surgery to remove my left tube last October and the Dr. told me that since both tubes are quite scarred, our best bet would be to go the IVF route so we're now starting that process. We're at the beginning of our first cycle so just hoping for the best at this point.

Hi C&J,
Just had tubal surgery on Friday, doctor was able to open both tubes and used dye to check. Now I have six months to try to get pregnant,if not will start ivf. Never thought I'd be going down this road when we started ttc last year. There is a higher risk of an ectopic pregnancy after tubal surgery but I have read many success stories too.
Here's hoping God sends us a baby :)

hi i had my left ovary & tube removed when i was 2 days old.....so ive always had this feeling that i wont be able to conceive easy.....it took me only 6 mths to conceive my dd who is now 4 & a half. it took us a bit longer to conceive this time (17 mths) as i was diagnosed with polycysts on my only ovary last june. after having a hycosy, lots of bloodtests, 4 rounds of clomid & a lap & dye im finally pregnant, 20 weeks with twins! good luck, having problems with ur tubes doesnt always mean that its the end of the rd ttc xxx
