Anyone used a gender prediction kit? Can any one share a boy potty shot?

I had a scan at 19+6 and was told we are having another baby boy. I'm over the moon at that as is my hubby, however I really wasn't convinced by what I saw in the scan, after having 2 boys before. It kinda looked like the turtle but then it looked more like swollen girl parts???? I didn't get a picture I'm afraid.
As we can't afford a secOnd scan we thought about trying a prediction gender test from amazon?? Has anyone used one at all?
We have desided to keep all buying to a minimum and to keep it gender neutral as we really arent sure??
Please HELP! Charlie xxxx

This is my little guy. Ultrasound was done at 21w3d. The sonographer said he is one of the more obvious ones she's seen.

I personally have not used one of the gender prediction kits, but a friend of mine did for fun when she was expecting a couple of years ago and it was wrong for her, told her girl and she had a boy.

Mine is pretty obvious too, this was at 18+3. Surely they wouldn't have told you boy without knowing for sure. He may have just been not wanting to show off his stuff, and they got a glimpse of it? Sometimes it takes an ultrasound tech to know what the gender is, regardless if it's a boy or girl.

Unfortunately no pics or advice on pics here.

However, I wouldn't get a gender prediction kit as a definite answer as they can often be wrong. It may have been right for some people but I've seen enough people get it wrong with these kits to turn me off of them... I feel like people just use them for fun.

I do hope that your u/s was correct! Well, it's great either way isn't it!

I don't have a potty shot of my DS as we was team yellow back then, but I just wanted to say I tried a lady on eBay guess my baby's sex from an ultrasound picture it was really cheap only 99p I think or £1.50 but she was correct I'm having a girl...I do think these predictor kits can be unreliable and I think a scan is the best way to know for sure..maybe like you said stay gender neutral until baby's born that way you won't be loosing out in anyway...baby bond did have a gender scan on offer for£39 if that could be considered..x

Potty shot at 16 weeks. :) It was very obvious to us :haha:

Also, I did not use a prediction kit as I have read that they are 50/50 on being right, lol, and are just for fun/novelty. So, I wouldn't waste my money.

I don't recommend the prediction kits. I used one and it said girl. I read that the false girl positives are waaaayyy less than the boy false positives. BUT, there's no questioning our ultrasound. Boy all the way!

I have no shot or advide on gender kit, but im in the same boat. I never even saw the boy parts on the screen. She said I think I see boy parts but reffered to him as a boy the rest of the appt. She never said I think but im not sure or I dont really know but I think its a boy. Im hoping she was right. I would think if she wasnt atvall somewhat sure doht you think she would express that? I use the word think loosely, so I dont know!

I heard of these kits but finding out at the scan is free and the kits are only 50/50 and just for fun. I agree, I wouldnt waste my money. Let me know if you try though as I bet it will still be fun for you

I would trust an "iffy" scan over those gender predictor kits. Check the reviews on amazon for those things, and you'll find a lot of negative reviews.

I was just checking out potty shot threads since we were told yesterday that it looks like a girl (no pic to scrutinize though). All your pictures made me laugh, they are so obvious! No need to click to enlarge, LOL! :)

My little boy when he was 20 weeks. He was very obviously a boy. Some people for some reason have a hard time seeing what things are, but it's clearly a thigh, testicles/penis, and his other thigh.
