I'd like to try one this time, so I can avoid all the ridiculous fabric of the Moby while managing a baby and toddler, but I'm lost on sizing. Some/all materials offered have no stretch as I understand it. Do you need a bigger size as baby grows? Are they assuming momma is getting smaller postpartum as baby gets bigger? I wear a US 4 pre-pregnancy. 5'8, 130 lbs pre-pregnancy. My boobs get giant during pregnancy and bigger after with nursing, so I guess that has to be factored in. I have no idea what size!

I had one with daughter. I'm 5'5 and weighed 102lbs before pregnancy. The ktan website recommended an XS for me, but I got the small instead. It was a fairly good fit and it does stretch a tiny bit, kind of like a cotton t'shirt. It will also shrink in the dryer. You could always buy or order from a place that offered returns so you could try out a size and exchange if it wasn't right. I don't know about needing a new one as baby grows since my baby didn't like it, I didn't used it long. Good luck. It's really hard to know when you can't see it/try it in person.

I would go for a size bigger than they recommend. I have a small, according to their sizes I should have used a XS but it was way too small with my boobs. :)

I have an xs, would have been ok with an s. If your LO does not like it, try various positions until you find one he/she is ok with.

5'7'' and 140 pre-pregnancy here. i got a small and it's perfect. baby was tiny though (6lbs2oz) so even with the whoa-boobs:shock::haha:, she fits nicely. i'm not sure how long she'll fit, but for me it's totally worth it, even if she only fits for these first months. i don't know how women survive without some kind of wrap/carrier; i LOVE my k'tan and can't say enough good things about it. i do also have a moby that i use here and there, but i think the k'tan gives the same feel with way less prep work, and i tend to grab it first.

I'm a US size 4 (120ish pre-pregnancy, 5'5) and bought a size Small since that's my normal clothing size, which is what the sizing guide recommended to me. :)

Maybe measure yourself and send an email to the company to ask what they recommend for the size?
