Anyone WTT for #2 for financial reasons?

Hi,

As the title says really...

We're WTT for number two. Need to wait until the government pay for a bit of nursery care for our LO so that we could MAYBE afford to have another one in nursery too as I work.

If my OH gets a massive payrise then maybe i'd be able not work and be a SAHM (i think i'm dreaming hehe)

anyone else in a simliar position?

Hi Fairy1984,
We are also waiting to try for #2 due to financial issues. Number 1 son is now 13 and at high school. We want another child before we're too old! We are just worried about how to manage for 6 months on SMP although I have learnt from these forums you can claim more tax credits if you have a child under the age of 1, also child benefit goes up by £13a week.
I'd love to be a stay at home mum too, but my wage as a nursing sister is worth half the family income and we couldn't manage without it.
It's horrible when you are very broody but you have to wait because of money.

I am WTT for financial reasons too. OH got laid off, so things are kinda tight. When are you ladies planning on TTC?

We're WTT for #2 due to financial reasons too. We just cannot afford professional help.

We're waiting and hoping on a promised payrise for DH before trying for #2 next summer. We also will need to move house at some point as things will be a little cramped in our small house!

Hi I'm in this position too! We also need to buy a car before we have any more because we have a van and there's only room for the three of us!

Oh yeah, I also have to persuade DH to ttc#2 as well! lol
